Duty Station: National AIDS/STD Programme (NASP), DGHS, Dhaka.

Contract Duration: January, 2026-December, 2026

Number of Vacancies: 01

Contract Type: Contractual.

Contract Start date: Immediate

Reporting to: Manager (Human rights and Advocacy) HIV & TB

Age: The maximum age for recruitment under Global Fund is 55 years and one can continue his/her service up to the age of 62 years.

 

A.    Background:

 

The Program Officer will be responsible to support GF funded KP Intervention centers at GoB health facilities and manage the participation of community in HIV program efficiently and effectively at the field level. S/he will be responsible for planning, implementation of CLM related activities in the selected site in consultation with Manager KPI and relevant officials. He/She in maintain close contact with the local and national level CBO platform, also reporting CLM findings and take initiative to implement decisions in the field level.

 


Job Responsibilities

B.    Scope of Work and Responsibilities

 

The detail tasks are as follows:

1.      Provide support CLM activities integrated with KP Intervention center on center in the GoB health facilities with program implementation, and monitoring of HIV programn focusing community led services and community strengthening.

2.      Building very good working relationship with CBO, Networks, PLHIV networks

3.      Conduct mapping exercise to identify the national level KP networks and local level CBOs and strengthening their capacity for engagement on the HIV programme

4.      Provide necessary training to the CLM data collector, preparing reporting tool in collaboration with M& E expert, Human Rights manager and preparing a standard feedback mechanism.

5.      Regular tracking the CLM findings, recommendations and implementation status

6.       Ensure all periodic programmatic reports submitted by in collaboration with Medical officer cum center manager/Outreach supervisors/Counsellor of HIV prevention services in the KP Intervention centers

7.      Provide regular programmatic/technical update to Manager-Human Rights and Advocacy initially

8.      Provide on-site coaching/mentoring to relevant field staff including data collectors, peer educators, outreach supervisors and relevant staff

9.      Support management team to deliver the training/workshop and support the quality of training/ workshop at HQ/field level.

10.  Coordinate and ensure engagement of other HIV PRs, NGOs, UN partners etc

11.  Undertake any other relevant task as assigned by the Line Director, Programme Manager or designated authority of NASP in conjunction with the Manager (KPI)

 

C.    Required Qualifications and Experience:

 

·         Qualification: Masters in Development studies/ social sciences/public health/gender studies

·         Experience:

-          About 3 years' experience in the development field

-          At least 2-year experience in the HIV programme in any NGO, SR and SSR or CBO level

-          Proven knowledge on computer literacy on MS word, excel, Power point

-          Good facilitation/ presentation skill

·         Additional Requirement

-          Experience in working with Government system.

-          Proven writing and spoken skill on Bangla and English will be added advantage


Compensation and Other Benefits

D.    Payment:

Program Officer will get Tk 56,673/= per month
