Duty Station:  NTP Head Quarter.

Reporting to: Line Director (TB-L and ASP) 

 

A.     Position descriptions:

For effective TB control program and COVID-19 Response Management (C19RM), NTP will recruit one (01) Supply Chain and Logistics Officer at National level who will be responsible to ensure reporting of Global Fund TB control and C19 RM activities in collaboration with TB, HIV and Malaria Program of GOB and NGO PRs. Furthermore he/she will be responsible for strengthening of Supply Chain Management for TB and C19RM program in the country in collaboration with divisional TB Expert, DSMOs and NTP HQ. He/She in collaboration with NTP respective focal person (s) of TB and COVID-19 will do necessary co-ordination to relevant experts, Officers and program personnel in respective areas of technical issues. Furthermore, He/She will contribute with required data support for National TB and COVID Response.

 


Job Responsibilities

B.    Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor degree in and discipline. Bachelor degree in Pharamacy, Medicine or Health Science related field or certified training/post graduate diploma in stores/warehouse management would be an added advantage

 

C.    Duties & Responsibilities:

 

·         He/She is accountable to Line Director TB-L & ASP and will perform his/her duties under the overall guidance of Deputy Program Manager (Procurement & Logistics)

·         Will work under the Technical guidance of PSM Expert.

·         Understand, implement and / or maintain standard inventory management policies and procedures specifically for the TB Laboratory and Covid-19 related products.

·         Manage and document the receipt, handling, storage, release/distribution and reporting of goods in warehouse(s) specifically for the TB Lab and Covid-19 related products.

·         Monitoring stock levels and manage casual laborers in the warehouse

·         Ensure the maintenance of warehouse building(s), fittings and equipment.

·         Implement and ensure clear safety procedures, clear loading / unloading procedures, correct stacking and turnover (FEFO, FIFO) procedures.

·         Maintain the Warehouse activity book recording all outgoing and incoming receipts and activities.

·         Assist in receiving all supplies and keep an accurate and up-to-date record of the store contents and in & out flow of drugs and other goods in the warehouse register.

·         Update the BIN card regularly and prioritize dispatch needs in conjunction with program.

·         Involve in the strengthening of Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS)/tools used in inventory management for TB Lab and Covid-19 related products (TB-WIMS, eLMIS, QuanTB).

·         Supervise truck loading/unloading and documentation follow up.

·         Receive completed store’s request forms and prepare the goods for issuance.

·         Ensure completeness of the request/indent form with signature from respective concern(s).

·         Prepare a monthly report for the expendables store outlining all stock movements and remaining balances.

·         On a monthly basis, work with the team to reconcile the Warehouse register in the Asset tracking sheet and equipment issuance forms.

·         Update the stock registers regularly in coordination with, Store Officer, Store Keeper, and IT  personnel.

·         Ensure proper realization of the store/supply related decision taken in the meeting.

·         Conduct routine inventory inspection and submit report to the PSM team in a timely manner.

·         Update the asset register regularly.

·         Any other duty assigned by Line Director TB-Leprosy Control.

 

D.     Experience:

 

·         Working experience: At least 3 years of working experience in related field. Working experience in TB program with National or International Organization will be counted as an additional value.

 

·         Knowledge, abilities & skills, including personal qualities & human relationships: Proficient at using a computer and required software (i.e. MS office, spreadsheet and database, etc.). Analytical and organizational skills applied to planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health care. 

 

Language: Proficient in both English and Bengali.

Age: The maximum age for recruitment under Global Fund is 55 years and one can continue his/ her service up to the age of 62 years.

 

E.    Payment:

 

Supply Chain and Logistics Officer will get BDT - 50,065/= (BD Taka –Fifty Thousand and Sixty- Five) (Taxable)
